....consist of a whole range of pursuits to suit all tastes and ages. The area is full of places to go, things to do and quality attractions.
Here are just a few of our favourites......
Fishing:
If sea fishing takes your interest then there are several marks within walking distance of the farm. Pollock, mackerel, bass and wrasse are the likely targets. For more precise details of how to find and explore these marks click here to read our information.
If catching lots of coarse fish or sitting by scenic lakes is more your idea of fun then there is plenty of choice within a short drive from Chypraze. In fact you could fish on a different lake every day of the week and never visit the same one twice. Full directions and recommended venues are available at the farm.
Birdwatching:
For the casual, to the very keen, the area surrounding Chypraze farm has it all!
If you enjoy being out in the open countryside, then just around the farm, as a casual birdwatcher you will have a great chance of spotting buzzard, raven, peregrine and even barn owls. There is of course all the familiar coastal and rural species from Gannet to Stonechat.
For the more dedicated there is a local website (sennen-cove.com/birds.htm) which provides daily updates of more unusual sightings in the area.
Within a short drive from the farm there are two notable RSPB reserves; Marazion Marsh and the Hayle estuary where rarities often turn up due to their extreme Southwest location.
In fact this is the place to be for those with an interest in birds and wildlife, be it keen or casual.
Walking:
The coastal path runs through Chypraze land so the farm is an ideal base for those who prefer a healthier lifestyle. Also there are several circular walks that include Morvah tearooms, Geevor tin mine, the famous Crown mines at Botallack as well as several ancient ruins. Maps are available at the farm.
Surfing:
Our own beach at Portheras can provide excellent surf for the more able swimmer. Boogie boards are a must. Nearby Sennen cove and St Ives provide reliable seas where surfing equipment can be hired.

Restaurants:
There is a large variety of places to eat for those special occasions when cooking at the farm after a lazy day on the beach seems too strenuous. These are just a few we have tried!!
