Ground floor

Family Dining Room: Step back in time and enjoy our impressive “chicken coop” and corner dressers’. Share meal times around our large dining table complete with 12 chairs and experiment with cooking on our coal burning AGA. A compact disc and tape stereo unit is available to provide music to suit your moods. Enjoy the view over the old farmyard.

Kitchen: Step down into our recently replaced fitted kitchen with pine fronted cupboards and granite effect worktops. Complete with double oven electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and automatic washing machine. Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and other general kitchen equipment including cleaning utensils and tea towels are all provided.

Living Room: Comfortably furnished with an array of furniture to provide easy watching of the TV or VCR. Take delight in the antique sideboard and open fire (first basket of fuel provided) and the view towards the sea and over the Rose Valley.

2nd Bathroom: Take a leisurely drench in our double walk-in power shower complete with matching white hand basin and low-level loo.

Bedroom 5: Recently refurbished to provide access for the less able with double pine bed, wardrobe and cupboards. Relax with a view over the old farmyard.

First Floor

Bedroom 1: Step down into this comfortably furnished newly decorated room. A high sprung Sealy double bed with pine headboard awaits you. There is plenty of hanging and drawer space in the fitted furniture. Enjoy the view to the old farmyard and Rose Valley.

Bedroom 2: A new double bed with pine base and headboard provides comfort here. The wardrobes and chest of drawers are traditional with sufficient storage space while providing a romantic atmosphere. Enjoy views to Rose Valley with sea glimpses.

Bedroom 3: A good size room with period furniture. A double bed makes for a comfortable stay in this bright room with views across the fields to the sea.

Bedroom 4: This split-level room currently houses three single beds and makes an ideal room for the children. Period furniture provides masses of hanging and drawer space with views to the old farmyard and Rose Valley.

Bathroom: A large light airy room with limed pine panels and warm cork flooring. This bathroom has a bath with power shower over, wash hand basin, mirror, shaver socket and WC.

All bed linen (duvets) is provided.

Other

Gardens: Roam around the farmhouse in complete isolation. A small walled garden to the front of the property makes a perfect suntrap where camellias flourish and a secluded walled garden behind the old barn makes for an ideal picnic area. The area between the barns provides plenty of sea breezes to dry wet swim wear on the clotheslines after a day on the beach. Garden furniture and BBQ are provided.

Parking: There is ample parking in front of the house with more available in the old farmyard if required.

Electricity: Free.

Wireless Broadband: Free

Heating: Eco-friendly ground source heating provides lashings of hot water. Radiators provide a constant temperature throughout the whole house.

Smoking: This is strictly prohibited.

Pets: We do allow pets but please keep them in the kitchen, family dinning room area only and off the furniture. There is plenty of scope to exercise your pets outside the garden areas but please pooppa scoop where necessary. Chypraze land is part of a working farm and the fields are in use so dogs must be kept on a lead except when on the beach. Please do not leave your pets unattended in the farmhouse at any time.
